El 10 de mayo de 2010, Judas Priest publica una edición limitada, ampliada y de lujo de su seminal álbum British Steel, su sexto disco de estudio lanzado originalmente el 14 de abril de 1980. Producido por Tom Allom, fue grabado en Tittenhurst Park (Inglaterra), una gran mansión propiedad de Ringo Starr y que antes había pertenecido a John Lennon y Yoko Ono. Judas Priest acaba de ganar el Grammy 2010 a la Mejor Actuación Metal y, según la revista Kerrang es “una de las bandas más importantes, influyentes e imitadas de la historia”.
La edición ampliada de lujo de British Steel se publica en dos formatos:
1) Edición limitada de lujo con tres discos: álbum original, DVD en directo y CD en directo.
2) Edición de lujo con dos discos: álbum original y DVD en directo.
En los DVD y CD aparecen canciones como Rapid Fire, Metal Gods, Breaking The Law, Grinder, United, You Don’t Have To Be Old To Be Wise, Living After Midnight, The Rage, Steeler, The Ripper, Prophecy, Hell Patrol, Victim Of Changes, Freewheel Burning, Diamond And Rust y You’ve Got Another Thing Coming.
